Hello, just to give some background about myself and business, I started crocheting first at the age of 10, and progressed to knitting at the age of 13ish.  I did not really get into it at that time, because I was just taught to crochet by my mother, and taught to knit by my sister.  However, I didn't get so involved in knitting and crocheting until about 5 years ago when I passed by a knitting store and spent hours there (not to mention a lot of money!) and made a bag that I still cherish to this very day.  You can see some of the projects that I did on this website.  One of my good friends, Andrew Guidone, who is the host of a show on a local cable access network called "Arts Insight" (aired in Brooklyn and Manhattan, go to www.artsinsight.com for listings*UPDATE: This show was aired a long time ago, I don't know if you will be able to see the actual show, but you might since it's been streamed on YouTube) and he had me as a guest and from there I got a reply from the principal of a public school and was asked to help teach the children how to knit and I obliged.  I offer both knitting and crochet lessons (both private and group lessons) where everything is provided to make a very basic project.

I have made a hand selected list of videos that teach knitting and crochet basics on YouTube.  It is great, because you can see the repitition of it, and in knitting & crocheting, repitition is the key.  I will keep adding video clips that are helpful & useful for beginning knitters/crocheters.  If you ever need help or are stuck with something, feel free to contact me.

Repitition helps you to not make mistakes & even a novice knitter/crocheter will know when their project doesn't look right.  However, if you feel that you have gone astray, I always suggest to unravel (undo) until you have passed the mistake, or, better still, start over!  I know it may hurt and you may feel that all your hard work is gone with nothing to show for, but every real knitter/crocheter knows that its not always about the finished project, it's about getting there, and being proud of your accomplishment, plus, even though others may not notice the mistake, you always will!!
